We have also developed a range of stepover units to allow pedestrian access over the top of production areas, such as conveyors or pipe systems. This allows pedestrians to move freely and reduces the distance of the route to get around hazards.

Safety Regulations
The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) are two safety regulations governing the maintenance of powered access platforms. These regulations mandate regular testing and examination by qualified individuals every six months for any machine that lifts people and 12 months for machines lifting just equipment.
Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER)
LOLER has the following requirements for servicing access equipment:
- Ensure equipment is safe and risk-free.
- Thoroughly examine access equipment before use.
- Conduct regular examinations every six months for lifting platforms and 12 months for all other equipment.
- Inspections and servicing are conducted by a qualified person who submits a full report to the owner/employer.
Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)
The servicing requirements of PUWER for work equipment are:
- Suitable for use.
- Maintained and used in a safe condition.
- Regular inspections to ensure safety.
- Inspections performed by a qualified individual.
- Record keeping until next inspection.
- Fit for purpose mobile access platforms to reduce risks.
